Some of the nozzles are blocked. The printhead has dried up due to lack of use or high storage temperature Using a warm water dampened tissue paper, gently press the print head until ink is seen on the tissue. Go to the "Printer Maintenance" and carry out a couple of nozzle clean cycles

  Cartridge/colour is almost empty Replace cartridge
Printer/PC displays "Ink out". When replacing a cartridge the printer MUST be calibrated and aligned. This process also re-sets the ink level monitor Carry out the printer calibration and alignment process whenever a cartridge is replaced
Cartridge does
not print:
Blue tape or transportation clip has not been removed Make sure that the blue tape and transportation clip have been removed
  Transportation has caused air bubbles within the printhead Go to the "Printer Maintenance" and carry out a couple of nozzle cycles
  Cartridge is not installed properly Install cartridges as described in the User Manual
